The Lassi of Mumbai, MM Mithaiwala in Malad West - ムンバイ１のラッシー屋さん （マラド）

The most popular drinks in India are Chai, Lassi and Lime juice.


Today, I had the best lassi in my Mumbai life.


The shop name is MM Mithaiwala.
Mithaiwala means a sweet shop person and
the shop is not only for lassi but for all sweet items and snacks!

Yet, as the lassi is outstanding, local people call them "MM Lassi".
Located very close to the Malad station, you can see them from the station itself.

You exit from Malad station at the west exit and the you will see MM Lassi at your left.

as always, station road is full of people!!!!!!!!!!!

in the lassi, they put some milk-originated sweet. that is yummy!

インドで人気の飲み物といえば、チャイとラッシー、そしてライムジュース。

ムンバイの人気ラッシー屋さん、MM Mithaiwala(甘いものやさんという意味）に行ってきました。

お菓子やさんですが、ラッシーが特に人気なので、
地元では、「MM ラッシー」と呼ばれています。


場所は、ムンバイ郊外（東京で言うと調布～府中くらい）のマラド駅前。
西口を出て、左を向けば見えます。

ラッシーに、チーズというかなんというかという、
白い固形の乳製品を入れてくれるのですが、これがまた美味しい！

チャイ5ルピーに比べて、ラッシーは28ルピーと、
チャイに比べるとずいぶんと割高なのにも関わらず、お客さんが絶えません。

乳製品なので、あまりお腹が強くない、旅行者の方は避けたほうが良いかと思いますが、
インドで普通に過ごせる方はぜひお試しください。

私が今までに食べた中では、群を抜いて、ナンバーワンです。
