Furniture Sales ---Adding some more products for sale!

As we move back to Japan, we decided to have a garage sale of home applicants and furniture about 2 weeks ago.

It is going smoothly and successfully ever than expected!

So, we are now adding some more products.

Besides new products, some furniture are available from 1st phase of the sales and we are now giving final discount for them.

1) Table for 6

INR: 18,000/-

It is simple wooden table with comfortable chairs for long time use. (now I am typing here).

It was originally 32,000.

2)Bed   6ft * 6ft

INR 18000 with mattress

Hand made bed for 2 people with mattress (3ft*6ft * 2Nos.)

We used 2 of 3*6 mattress for comfortable sleep.

Even though your partner moves out from bed, you will not be bothered as your mattress is not affected. 

The mattress are the good ones.

We selected a better mattress for our back. 

You can get 3 set of bed cover with pillow cover if you like (free)
You can get pillows as well.

   

3) Ward-lobe

INR 12,000

4 door ward-lobe with 5 drawers with keys.

4) Bed side-drawers

INR 2000/each-

We have 2 Bed side drawers.

5) Curtain

This is a black-out curtain and we sowed the mos-green color black-out curtain backside.

In the morning or even in the noon, you can comfortably make your room dark.

Size: 245cm*250cm (width*length)

       (approximately 8.5 feet*8.5 feet) 

Selling price INR4,000/-

Below can be taken as free if you are taking more than 2 of above furniture.

Grand Hyatt ムンバイで最もおすすめのホテルブッフェ、Fifty Five East

ムンバイには多くの有名ホテルが軒を連ねていますが、
日本人の間で、最もブッフェが人気なのはグランドハイアット、Fifty Five Eastです。


私も噂には聞いていましたが、元々あまりブッフェ好きなわけでもなく、
あまり期待せずに行きました。




行って良かったです。



インド料理以外は、お料理が全くもってインド風味ではないので、
洋食は洋食、和食は和食、タイ料理はタイ料理として美味しい。

当たり前と言えば当たり前のことかもしれませんが、インドでこれがきちんとできているのは
珍しいです。

お寿司もあります。ネタの種類は少ないですが、美味しいです。

おいしい洋食

デザートも豊富です

私が行ったのは７時ごろだったこともあり、
インド人のディナーの時間にはまだ早く、周りに５組以上の日本人が来ていました。

値段も２０００ルピーくらいで良心的ですし、
カレーに飽きて美味しいものが食べたくなった時におすすめです。



こんなに日本人が出没するレストランは、ここと、幸福という和食レストランくらいだと思います。
幸福は、最近味が少し良くなった気がします。

幸福には、本当に単なるおせっかいですが、和食指導したいです。
ムンバイの和食、特に家庭料理は、日本人にとって美味しい味だったら、
私の方がまだましなレベル感なのです。

Happy Holi! ～世界一カラフルなお祭り～

今日は、ホーリーと呼ばれる、大きなお祭りです。

私の知る限り、世界一カラフルなお祭りです。

古くから祝われているお祭りで由来は諸説あるそうですが、

神が悪に勝った記念のお祭りだそう。

夏を告げるお祭りでもあります。

どうやら、意味合いよりも、楽しむことが大切なお祭りのようで、

とにかく、カラフルな粉と水をかけ合います！

小さな売店でも、カラフルな粉を売ってます。

この粉をこのまま、もしくは水鉄砲に色水にして入れて、とにかくかける！

ちびっこも水鉄砲持って参加

道行く人たち。彼女たちは、まだきれいな方。
３人乗りスクーターで颯爽と駆け巡ります。

東京で言うところの、甲州街道や明治通りくらい大きな通りを、
いたって普通に粉だらけの人たちが行きかいます。

もはや、今日は粉を付けている方が正しいのか・・・。

隣のマンションを覗くと、みんな水浸し。マダムたちも水浸し。

知らない人にも、水、粉をかけちゃいます。

これが、激しくなっていくと、もはや誰が誰だかわからないし、

いろんな色の粉が混ざってもう黒くなっていくのですが、

その人たちは写真に撮れませんでした。

写真撮っていい？とでも話かけたら、私もかけられるので要注意です。

私は全身水浸しはいやなので、

まぁ、きれいなままでは帰れませんでしたが、

水浸しにはならなかったので、上出来です。

日本でも、年に１度くらいは、大人も子どもも思いっきり楽しむ、
こんなお祭りがあってもいいんじゃないかと思います。

何といっても、子どもたちが楽しそう。
思いっきり汚れてもいいし、
大人に水風船投げつけてもいいなんて、そりゃ楽しいですよね。

粉はそのまま投げませんとありますが、少なくともムンバイはそんなことありません。
子どもだけでなく、大人も、誰が誰かわからない人続出です。

菜箸もあります。（写真にはありませんが、一般的な菜箸が３膳はあります）

7) Zipper - Imported one. this can close tightly unlike local made one.

I have 4 of middle size(left) and 4 of smaller size( right)

1) Sofa : This set is fully order-made, art-deco style. The wood is pure rose wood.

    We fell in love in this sofa when we had seat in our furniture master's office in Oshiwara. 

    He is the oldest furniture shop owner in the area from his father era, exporting to Europe, US now.

Bought in September 2013.

オシワラ地区に古くから家具屋を持つオーナーの自信作。

ヨーロッパやアメリカにも輸出する、オーナー自慢のアールデコ調。木材はローズウッドです。

confortable for 3 people in longer sofa and 1 each for small ones.

you can take cushions from fab-india if you like (for free) 

2) Table for 6

We bought in a mall and liked this dark brown color.
The chairs are comfortable for long time use. (now I am typing here).

６人掛けテーブル
お客様がいらした時も考えて、６人用にしました。
日々６人で囲むには小さめですが、 普段４～５人で使うには十分です。

気に入ったのがなかなかなく、手作りしてもらったベッド。

6ft*6ftのキングサイズでゆったり。

マットレスを１つではなく、２つで使えるのは大きめの、6*6サイズならでは。

隣で寝がえりをうたれても、ほとんど影響がありません。

I think it is okay for 3 to 4 people, too. We kept Japanese food in it and needed bigger one.
To note, we are non-veg.

お肉類を入れるためにも冷凍庫が大きめのものをと、大きい冷蔵庫にしていました。

You can comfortably warm by Microwave, grill and even make bread by convection.

It has 101 auto menu.

3) TV Haier   LE40B50 

INR24,000/-

40inch LED TV with excellent condition. Well......we did not watch TV much...

4) Rice cooker SANYO

INR 8000/-

Perhaps only Japanese will be interested......but it is truly Japanese quality one.

0.5～5合炊きです。37分で炊けます。日本のお米が毎日食べられます。

（こちらをご購入の方には、日本米も差し上げます）

5)Washing Machine : Video con 6 liter

INR: 6500/-

As we bought from our friend as a 2nd hand, we will give big discount.

The condition is good and has several settings.

6) Gas Stove : Faber

INR 4500/-

Thanks to our maid, it is in good condition.

Liter is build in and you do not need to use a liter.

7)Electric stove/ Injection : Phillips HD4909

INR 3,000

Till we get the cylinder gas, we used it. So, only some week of use.

ムンバイで、お豆腐を買う ～Ai Tofu~

インドで和食材の豊富な場所といったら、間違いなく、邦人の多い首都のデリーですが、
お豆腐屋さんはムンバイだけにあります。

デリーの和食材さんにも、ムンバイ産のお豆腐が置いてあります。



ムンバイでお豆腐を作っているのは、Ai Tofu。
日本人の方が経営していて、日本と同じお豆腐が買えます。


注文は、電話かメールにて、１２丁以上で配達無料。
我が家は２人家族ですが、油揚げを冷凍したり、お稲荷さんにすると
１２丁ペロッと食べています。

たまに食べると、それまた美味しいんですよね。


初めて宅配を頼んだときは、その日本並みの梱包品質に驚きました。

写真があまり良くないのですが、専用の２重ダンボールに入ってます。
こんなダンボール、インドで他に見たことがありません。

みっちり正方形のお豆腐が入っています

日本に比べると少し値は張りますが、それでも納得の内容です。
ムンバイ在住の日本人の方で、まだ試してない方がいたら、とてもおすすめしたいです。
